About Monya

Monya works as an integrative psychotherapist, using a variety of therapeutic modalities, and as a bodywork therapist with two decades of experience as a practitioner both in the private and public health system, in UK and in Australia.

Monya’s enjoys taking a collaborative and flexible approach with her work in order to meet clients’ unique requirements and facilitate their personal growth.  Monya values a holistic approach to wellbeing hence, supporting the body and mind toward healthy patterns, rhythms, meaningful connections and relationships. In her practice, Monya facilitates clients with genuine care, warmth and transparency without judgment or expectation supported by her extensive experience in working with families, young children and individuals, and encountering different presentations of psychological distress including: chemical and behavioural addiction; parental anxiety and depression; trauma, attachment issues.

Monya completed her clinical training at the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry, Sydney, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of Adelaide, Adelaide. Her work is also informed by many years of research and fulltime practice in the field of mental health, bodywork and community wellbeing.
